Rumours have it that Body Riddle blows Hello Everything out of the fucking water... I'm well stoked and don't think I haven't considered adding Clark to the lineup - he just doesn't have the musical history behind him like the other guys do.

eh? it aint SQUAREPUSHER VS CHRIS CLARK or some shit, music ain't some kind of competition, and: to each their own..

I didn't say it was - just that from those who have heard both releases, they tend to prefer Body Riddle to Hello Everything. Simply an opinion, nothing more. I'm sure Hello Everything will be a fantastic Squarepusher release nonetheless.

Clark will be playing LIVE in London next Tuesday night, supporting Tortoise as part of ATP's Don't Look Back series.

Tortoise will perform their album 'Millions Now Living Will Never Die', while Clark be showcasing new material from his forthcoming album 'Body Riddle', which is out on Warp this Autumn, alongside older tracks.

I'll give a definitive conclusion on wednesday morning, as well as gloating that Im about to see what could possibly be one of the best nights ever..

I just hope I can find it when it comes out. So far the only Clark CD I've been able to find is Clarence Park, and it's not very good. It's frustrating because practically every song sample I've heard off any of his other releases sounds great to me. Any time I look for him on a file share network I get a billion hits for Kelly Clarkson. It's a hopeless pursuit. I swear he'd be a favorite artist of mine if I could ever find his damn music anywhere.

Why don't you check the samples at bleep.com?

As I already mentioned I've liked all the samples I've heard and I can't find it in the shop. If I one day stumble upon his CDs in a store, great. Until then, I usually end up buying several new CDs every week (it's all I spend money on other than food and booze on rare occassion), so I'm good for new listening material at the moment.
