i was looking for old orubasarot posts the other day and they were all missing ;_;

like theres ppl responding to him but the posts arent there...

the way that my mp3s would always exist, I just assumed this place would always exist.  to me, IDM is inseparable from WATMM.  I could even say, part of why IDM is so great even now is WATMM.  lots of inside jokes and people who have long since left who I'll never get to read their stuff.  the speculation, details, special discoveries, interpretations and thoughts

on the internet, sometimes it's not the people you know, it's the ones you don't know and never will.  but you still recognize them.  that matter the most.  maybe someone I talked to once or twice in a thread years or a decade ago that I kept an impression of them, or just remember their ava vaguely

often it happens by accident that you never see someone online again, and you never even notice it.  but this time we know it's going to happen at some uncertain date in the near future.  it makes it much worse, and frankly shit, because it doesn't have to happen for any technical reason, there was no catastrophic infrastructural breakdown, no loss of some database encryption keys, it's an intentional act.  and sorry to say, one that won't be forgiven, not by me, not that my opinion matters, but it's bullshit

Now that the forum is over, and we have jointly exercised our constitutional rights, we would like to leave you with one very important thought: Some time in the future, you may have the opportunity to serve as a voter in a so-called name thread. It would be wise to remember that the same people who would stop you from viewing WATMM may be back next year to complain about a rolling lol, or even a "quite good". If you can be told what you can see or read, then it follows that you can be told what to say or think. Defend your constitutionally protected rights - no one else will do it for you. Thank you.
