These functions seem to be served well (at least in principle) by 

• mixesdb (for mix tracklists)
• aepages.org (for other stuff)

I'm not saying leave tycho alone or anything (keep going), but flahblub is getting a very easy ride

Ahh... no clue - I know I have the original CDRs of the video submissions (recall this was back in the day when uploading a video was quite a feat), as I had to ship the videos to BOC themselves to judge. Let that sink in for a minute... I had a PO BOX (BOC?) for BOC. They very kindly shipped the prizes (the silver foil MHTRTC poster was incredible) to me, which I then shipped out to the winners. Someone out there has an autographed copy of Geogaddi, and an autographed BOC kaleidoscope. Mind blowing.

I'm not ashamed to admit "Devices" is one of my favorite tracks of his, and two of my best concert memories involved Tycho:

• My son's first concert was at the White Oak Music Hall where we got to watch Tycho from stage right perform, after having been backstage with him prior, just talking. He's a really cool and chill guy and doesn't deserve the hate even if you don't like his music (I wasn't a fan of his tracks with vocals for example). The fact that just texting him and saying "hey, we're here to see you play" and he's like "OMG - come backstage!!!" was a delight for me and my son.
• Watching Aphex Twin perform live at Day for Night in Houston, 2017 with Tycho, standing there side by side in the rain, along with Steve from WARP (this was coincidentally also one of my personal low points in running this site, but more on that later)...

Hmm, @auxien, not sure posting Tycho everyday is going to achieve the change you want to see

hey that’s cool, like really. i’m never one to down anyone for liking any music (much of what i like would get some side eyes) but i think the history + the sorta vibe that Tycho is going for (which obv resonates with millions of people, of which 99.9999% of them are not on this forum…) kinda makes them a good punching bag in a way. i will say i liked the Tycho studio walk through video (will post that tomorrow! ) because he obv enjoys his toys & writing music but like…man the output is not my cup of tea. well it sorta is because i personally hate tea.

I feel the same about Dangermau5. Seems like a nice enough guy and probably has $1 million+ worth of gear but I can't stand his music.

I can’t find it but someone needs to archive the “mspaint your favorite album cover” (not sure if that was the actual title) thread. I’ve searched for it a dozen times and the search function produces like 1200 results, even if I search titles only and words in quotes.
