That wasn't a name suggestion, I was telling zazen to read the rules if they genuinely didn't know the origin of "kiosk". Read the rules would be a stupid name.

music? certain music? electronic music? certain electronic music? geek culture in general? (not) being watmm? israel vs palestine?

i honestly dunno. wouldnt mind a completely self-referential / contained wankfest personally but if it should be about "IDM" (ew) or whatever i'd still try to avoid being too specific by referencing certain artists. i mean did anyone ever really think about "we are the music makers" when thinking about WATMM? to me WATMM was always just "WATuMM", some hard to spell, stupid, meaningless word. but im kinda retarded anyway so there.

Valid questions. I’m all in favor for it to be just like this one: large focus on idm featured artists / production and knob twiddling arena / general banter / general music discussion / ylc / etc 

Watmm served a purpose for a community of electronic musicians with a bent toward the left-field & esoteric. Preserving an outlet for those interests is probably the most important thing, as watmm’s disappearance will create a huge void in that space. 
What watmm did right was giving other areas to blow off steam so that it wasn’t so strictly confined to certain boundaries, but still within an orbit of a shared sensibility. Even though im a huge aphex fan (and pretty big fan of each of the other featured artists, to varying degrees), I still feel that I can chat with plenty of other people with overlapping interests in jungle, heavy metal, psychedelic music, world music, folk rock, shoegaze, etc, etc. it keeps me coming back.

I believe there's a discord that is exactly this. 

What's the new forum about - is that an actual question? It's about electronic music (with plenty of space to talk about other genres as well - Jefferoo makes good points above)

there's a simple answer to that: people want to carry on doing what they've been doing here on watmm. it can be anything from talking about certain electronic music artists, music equipment, new releases, world events and politics, memes etc
