The most users ever online was about 6 days ago at 260. Currently there are 232 users online. 
If the 40-50 would-be-voters who are logging on and reading everything that’s going on would vote, maybe we wouldn’t end up with a repeat of the last presidential election where the wrong course of history was chosen by voter apathy (although, I imagine the turnout percentage is significantly greater here).

Actually this feature has always had a glitch. Over the years, it periodically updates every few weeks with whatever number was highest during that period. Numbers in the 300s used to be more common. Take it with a grain of salt.

I guess it got covered somewhere else? Imagine WATMM as the bookcase/library in Interstellar. Murph represents the real artists that we obsess over and we're Matthew McConaughey scrambling through the stacks. There have been a couple of notable times that we so psychotically shoved books and exerted energy that we were able to effect a quantum change in the artist chamber. The biggest was obviously the Caustic Window campaign. The other was Autechre naming the Japanese bonus track for Exai "keyosc" based on our rabid shitposting. It's about as integral to WATMM lore as it gets but if one wasn't there, it probably seems absurd. If you see anything like "Bullwallet", "KIOSK", etc, it was from the 2011-2013 time period that can best be described as online bullying for a new Ae album. I forgot how fun that was until now.

I don’t get it either. But I liked gnarly’s designs. If the design is good, I can live with it.
 

Otherwise it’s just a dank meme from a tiny niche, to me. Which is kinda in the spirit of autechre naming tracks and albums. That is the part I do get. But using it as a forum name, dunno. Might as well call it the (un)tilted.pls forum.
 

Not a fan of the dankness though. That’s just bad taste. Please don’t turn the next watmm into a stereotypical US mall. I’d run to reddit if the place turns into a prefabricated danky US mall Invision Community forum. Which is currently already a thing, because I haven’t extended my watmm membership. And now the forum has turned into a storm of google ads. X(

I get the reference guys! And if that is what the WATMM massive want then I'll concede. I do think it might hinder potential newcomers a bit because how would they find out about this being an electronic music subforum.

For the record, even as a staunch aenthusiast, wcbyd wins my #1 vote, with keyosc second. I guess when we get to round 12 of voting and it's limited to one choice that's where we might see an overall shift.
