Really liked the tracks Gowerbit/Gowerbit2, and am a bit curious to see the other posts he has put up under his cash madrid jive ID - please post quotes or links to topics he posted in - thanks for your help!

yeah supposedly there was a secret thread (its contents unsearchable using the search engine) where he released a 5 track ep of analord style outtakes. everyone talks about it but i havent found it

i like the gower bits. they are very afx-y in a hard to fake way. not that it would be IMPOSSIBLE to fake, but it seems like at the very least, the faker would have to have some of the same kit.

anyway, the "faucet trip track" was the clincher for me. pretty hard ab4-style stuff (or whatever), and intense "in the afx style".

it's not conclusive, but if cmj is not aphex it's at least someone with a lot of the same kit and creativity. so in any case i'd like to track down more music by him / it and figure out what the deal is with him / her / it. word.

cash madrid jive was me, it was a total joke and it was basically about me and some of my friends laughing at how easy it is for someone to create something with aphex' "style" and see how easy it is to attract suspicion of actually being aphex! it was never meant to be "revealed", but joyrex spoiled it now i guess!! :(((88888

anyway i never got any information regarding what accounts to keep, but just delete the jive account cause it was nothing but jive anyway

well, okay. i wouldn't say that they were GOOD or GREAT, but i enjoyed them. i can see why someone who traffics in a more tight, consistent acid sound might think they were shit. i enjoyed them though.
