joyrex unveiled my identity and i had to step up, if nothing had been found out, i would never have "gone public" with the cmj thing. it had nothing to do with "promotion", it was a joke.

eh, i wasn't the only one "in on it", other friends knew about this... the idea didn't form out my head alone, but i'm not naming others because of you trying to corner me like that. and your "expectations" have no grounds in fact, so it's just going to be some cynical speculation, really. and playing around on electronic music message boards is fun because it's sort of an in-joke between me and some of my friends that the "omg <nick> is aphex twin" factor is extremely high on them.

also; my "entire recent output" is three half-assed bits of fun and a few 4-5 minute distorted loops mixed together? right-o.

People can beleive what they want but I personally (because I have nothing better to do) went through all his posts and also carefully listened to the subjected mixes. Vocabulary is very the same, sounds like him in every one. There are some equipment referances that click into place onto the timeline. Production is very similar in places... some unique RDJ qualitys for the tracks.

In the end it doesn't matter but I expect there would be someone sad enough as me as to fake the thing than I am to look over the "evidence" as such. I think it was him pissing about, trying to confuse his geeky fans... I'm no phycologist but I'm pretty sure it's the kind of thing he'd do.
