i bought the jacket because i wanted one that was SUPER WARM while being NOT POOFY. this is because dr. hat does not like poofy jackets, nor does he like being cold.

layers are the answer!

i often use the following layering system:

1. witty t-shirt

2. flannel shirt

3. sweatshirt

4. jacket

i omit layers as seems appropriate, based on the weather.

I've just got myself my first North Face jacket not in black though!! I went for brown instead
