It's really not, pretty different track for Shackleton in a lot of ways(who usually makes tracks which are at least in the normal dubstep tempo range, which this is not)

Then again, I'd say calling Shackleton "dubstep" would be misleading.

I still haven't listened to this so called dubstep musical genre, I don't know where to listen to sample music with my telephone internet connection over the computer.

I'd say go to a local record store and pick up the Caspa and Rusko fabriclive mix

Dubstep is pretty good, I thought it was a bit boring at first, but there are some really nice darker melodies. Although I've only tried Burial so far.

Dubstep needs to be heard live in a club as that for me is the biggest thrill about this music. Its the excitement of hearing it on a big phat weighty sound system.

I was planning on putting some myspace links up in this thread for folks to check new artists and the like. Anyways I'll just start with the one. Check Ekaros. Me personally I rate him as one of the best 'Dubstep' artists out there. Totally original material with a seriously sick & twisted sound and I mean borderline sick. For me this guy has made some of the darkest dubstep I've ever heard. Been recently signed to Combat Recs too. This guy will only get bigger. Download his free mp3 reccid before it goes for good. Its unbelievable good for a freebie.

Fair play if you're not feelin' him but you should defo download his record. He's gettin' massive props on dubstepforum.com. I listen to a lot of dubstep and he's defo a major talent. Check 'Basstrain' if you don't listen to any other tracks of his.

Firstly Dot. Incredible talent with just supa dancable basslines. More prone to use distorted kicks and the like for rhythms and bass. Really dug her shit for a while now.
