New Gescom?

gescom is not equal to autechre in many ways.

i guesstimated rob hall was involved and i think im right

I dig B1 and C1, the rest is pretty forgettable

d1 is great

I buy it just to be sure, but if the samples are anything to go by, this is the weakest Gescom i've ever heard. wow.

I'm still not convinced by this at all, it just sounds half-arsed and devoid of any effort.

yeah kind of my feeling as well. I mean its decent and kind of original, lots of wacky cutups but it really sounds like this is more about the concept than the outcome

This is like using creating a manic drumfield that works less as a spinal ridge upon which other things are hung and more as a wood-blinding exercise through an excession of trees.' or something.

B1 is a 'version' of 'Come with Us' by Brian Eno and David Byrne (My life in the bush of ghosts) - you kids!

It destroys the original from the off, using the constituent parts as bit-players in a clap-happy throwdown - gradually coalescing into a near straight rip of the original - very nice! YEH! YEH!

Hmm, something weird has happened. From the few days of listening to this I've gone from loathing it to thinking it's probably one of the grooviest things they've done under the Gescom moniker. I'm still not a fan of C2 as it's kinda messy but all the other tracks are dead ace.

Know knows, one day I might even enjoy Cylob too !! (though I doubt it)
