New Gescom?

is this out yet? i havent anything but the lastest gescom did not disapointed me (iss isa &minidisc cd) so i'm sure i'll like it

ive been listening to it in my car lately. Its decent stuff and its good for being a plunderphonics release it reminds me more of Wobbly's 'Wild Why' than Autechre or Gescom. I haven't heard any of the original songs though so maybe if i did i would change my mind, are they drastically different from the originals?

This has just turned up in the post, and something similar has happened to me. I pretty much love it. C1 and B1 are the tracls that have really hit me. Have to agree about C2 so far though; it' not exactly doing it for me either.

Still, I'm now no longer going to judge releases on bleep samples alone...

I'm surprised everyone hates this release so much. I love it. It sounds like mutilated hip hop instrumentals from beginning to end. I'd even rate this above Rushup Edge! The rhythms are all very complicated, switching between triplets and sixteenth.

If these are all remixes, and they very well might be, any idea what C1 is? The melody at the beginning is the same as Gangster's Paradise... somehow. Where's the windowlicker bit?

damn this thing has stages. i wonder if the songs actually change the more you listen to them, but like subtly to the point of you not being able to notice until months later when the song has become drastically different.

does the cd case open up the wrong way or something?

in comparison to the gescom of yesteryear, this really is a dreadful record.

Wow, I really like A1-D1! I doubt Autechre produced the release, imo.

Been booty shakin to this quite a bit lately.

My own personal U-turn has gotten even sharper. I fucking love A1 and A2 now.

the problem is most of you people judge tracks too soon

I think these things need to be heard not only a few times, but more than several and through diferent situations and mind states

or maybe just not while surfing teh internets.
