[sND is fucking amazing, if no one has checked them out yet, other than seeing them live, I would recommend either their albums 'stdio' or 'tender love' for starters. Its sorta like really minimal house that slips and slides and shifts as their songs progress. Oh and it lots of repetition. Not sure what they are like live. I also really enjoy their side project 'BLIR' but its really really really minimal and may be a tough listen at first...especially if you hate repetition. Lots of minimal artists list them as an influence. They have a really cool way of shifting their beats around.

Oh and I got my ticket her in Toronto for April 12 with Mantronix and Rob Hall. I listened to Mantronix stuff on the net and Im not impressed.

yes indeed, SND rule.... easliy one of the best artists of the last decade fpr me! their first lp, makesnd cassette, is still my fave, but everything they do is gold. can't wait till the new 12"s come out. really wish they were supporting autechre in japan instead of massonix. that subtracks lp didn't do anything for me.

i have an MD god-knows-where with a live rec. of snd playing in mutek, gotta find that and put it on the computer.

I don't want Massonix and Rob Hall to ruin the show. They will spend more time in the concert than Autechre.

Rob hall never ruins the show he is part of it and a really good part, a superb DJ that always gets people going. And massonix is great, i saw him live last year hsi set was superb. I mean its graham massey for fooks sake what more could you want?

Oh yeah? Well, the Jerk Store called, and they're running out of you!

Easy Jamaican Jerk. It was a joke. No need to be so lame.

I guess you don't watch Seinfeld.

thought SND were excellent, never heard them before but i'll be looking into them more closely now, any recommendations?

AE were wicked aswell, first time seeing them. Got right on the rail (rale?) at the front and had my ears properly blasted

also got a handshake off sean at the end of the set, and met larry david, so a winning night all round really...

my mate had to leave at 12 because he was feeling too ill to stay, this was after travelling for about 4 hours to get there, i refused to go with him.

Oh Yes!!!!! Leterel!!! I remember now.....

Glad you stuck around - Autechre were certainly worth the wait....

Is that that TV show with the crappy slap bass jingles every five seconds? "Yes"... In that case, no.
