Vletrmx21 and Yulquen I find to be the highly emotional ones in the ambient division... while Overand is just the soundtrack to your common utterly disorientating dream. :) Yet I think its different to S.A.W.2, but the comparison is evident.

 

Finally, Hub from Chiastic is a very desperate one for me, makes you feel trapped somehow.

Yes. And the rest of the track is them forcing you down and raping you with brute force for six minutes straight. Very disturbing track, but my vote still goes to Bine. It's like going completely insane after being punished with eternal total sensory deprivation and serving a few years of your sentence.

Maybe I would consider the whole Confield as their most unsettling material.

I have to say there are some unsettling moments to Quaristice! Its not exactly scary or anything, but the pure energy of the ending part of IO, or IO (mons) really freaks me out.

Another vote for Parhelic, it's like losing your mind. And the whispering at the end of Zeiss Contarex is creepy. Also, more recently, I think Altichyre is unsettling for some reason.

you guys suck. I'm telling you it's the original Drane, it'll make you want to tear your ears off if you listen to it on repeat. It'd be a good litmus test for schizophrenics!

so far much of Quaristice is pretty unsettling..... this will probably change in a week or two when i've listened many more times

also, the start of V-Proc, with all the swirliness gets me. but it's still awesome.

I wonder why I didn't mention Incunabula in my other post..maybe because I see it seperately from all the other releases - I find the atmosphere of the whole album unsettling actually, especially the calmer tracks. I don't even listen to it too often, it takes some effort for me to not be overwhelmed by the whole mood. Windwind, Autriche and 444 especially.

I edited this music video featuring Bine a month ago. It looks noob, I know...

Latent Quarter has been creepy lately while being incredibly funky....kind of like I'm scared by it, but I also want to dance...also can someone hook me up with Drane? I really want it!

9013-2 is very unsettling as well I think, really awesome though.

Drane isn't exactly scary...but it does have an unsettling atmosphere about it...

The (voice?) samples and melody at the very end of Sublimit always haunt me, especially in contrast with the jocular beginning.
