when he said "pitched up", did he mean the sample pitched up like, the pitch and tempo go up, or the pitch goes up but the tempo stays the same?

both. there's a sample of the break online somewhere, but it's a low bitrate sample.

Yep, both. I'm moving to another house at the moment, so unfortunately I don't have any time to put a good WAV sample online now.
