Lianne
There's something a bit rough and ugly sounding about this track that makes it hard to enjoy. I'm not talking about deliberate darkness, like in Confield. It's something irritating. Guest November
The Subrange sets, Losid 2 and Suns versions were all more enjoyable for me than the Range set and Perlence itself, which I felt were kinda throwaways to begin with. My only issue with Subrange 6-36 is the clipping-like reverb on some of the bass hits are too jarring to truly feel like it has a purpose there. Otherwise, it's an average at best ambient track and I don't mind it. Altibzz/Altichyre and the Notwo/Nofour sets more than make up for it. If they won't do a 'studio live' album, I can only hope they do a more ambient album along those lines.
