i don't think you can reason with him... it's all been said before

he just doesn't let it(=the fact that it's all about taste, and only visiting this forum to defend flashbulb is like don quixote fighting windmills) get trough to him... he probably considers himself smarter and betterknowing than most people here on this board

either he's bored, and just keeps defending flashbulb on watmm because he's got nothing better to do

my guess is that harky gets paid to defend benn on the internet (so that benn himself doesn't have to do it)

or, harky has autism (nothing wrong with that) and benn jordan is his obsession, and benn is all he can talk about and he wont take any shit said about benn and doesnt reply to any reply thats directed towards himself or anything else besides benn (he probably wont even read all this since its not about flashbulb)

or he is homosexual (nothing wrong with that) and has strong feeling towards benn and all that he creates

or he is a family member of benn (perhaps his mom) who keeps defending him out of family love

sure all this seems rather absurd

I'll say it again... I think that benn jordan has, by writing extensively about himself in third person for many years, created a tulpa, an autonomous thought-form that acts like a separate person but is really just the supposed "narrator" of these third-person-press-pieces come to life.

it would explain why harky can't let go of the benn-defending and also can't post about anything else... he doesn't know anything else, he just knows everything about Benn-- well, everything about Benn from Benn's perspective.

Your love for The Flashbulb is truly understandable, although I don't see the point in trying to convince WATMMers to like him also. Well, I don't hate Flashbulb fans, not at all.. I don't hate the guy either, I just hate his crap music, quite simple really. Listening to Squarepusher's magnificent new album just makes it even worse. No respect to people who treat artists like genres to plunder, commoditize, commercialize, pedestrianize, and completely misunderstand the reason this kind of music came about in the first place. Just another nerdy american tribute-tronica nobody, sorreeee..
