oh man Tales from the Punchbowl is one seriously underrated LP.

I still think other Primus albums are superior but Tales from the punchbowl

is probably my most listened to Primus and i hold it very dear in my heart.

lost gem of a post-punk band from the late 70s/early 80s. they did crazy shit with looping and mixing desks and early sampling techniques, and their music reeks of cold war dread. also their recording studio was a converted meat locker which they called cold storage.
