It looks familiar . . . I think it's on my wife's Wish List. She has more to do with the GameCube than I do . . . The wiki doesn't sound like a typical game, what's your general opinion of it? Wait, I read about this one before, it's the one that displays warnings that supposedly come from the television or GameCube itself if your "sanity" gets low. That was a big turnoff for me. Hautlle
ya, it was a lot of fun! It kind of reminds me of Zelda meets Resident Evil. I actually re-bought this game to play it again as I had sold it off after beating it. You say a lot of fun, but I'll ask you, would it be fun for someone who cannot stand more than 15 hours of a horror game? I, um, know somebody whose friend can't play horror games, so, I was curious. Hautlle
Well, it isn't exactly a straight forward horror game. You play as many different characters throughout many time periods. It is more of an adventure game like Zelda. Your 'main' character is in a mansion but you find different scrolls that take you to other characters and you play through that part of the story. Hautlle
I found my second copy on ebay for about $15 a couple years back. I was also just sitting in class and I remembered this game Beyond Good & Evil. It was a pretty good adventure game too, not sure if it's been mentioned yet. Found a copy, just the disc, no box or booklet. Played up to the fourth character, the one in India. The hallucination stuff is a bit jarring sometimes, but our television doesn't display Volume or Line the way it's depicted in the game, so those are easy to deal with. I went to bed afterwards, and dreamt of hundreds of people being burned alive. No sleeping aid involved. essines
nah i kinda want, for one, to start a meaningful poll and for two, find out which games that a somewhat likeminded crew of folks enjoy the most. i trust a lot of watmmites opinions on games and i'd like a short list of games i NEED to play so i can check em out. otherwse there are like 45 games in this thread and god knows which i should check out. kaini
well the game that made me fall in love with the gamecube was zelda:wind waker. you need that (if you can get the two-disc version with the GC refixes of ocarina, even better). and the game that reaffirmed that love was pikmin. so you need that too. and for a short but sweet treat, luigis mansion, if you can find a copy. for a hard game which will last, try super mario sunshine (a lot of people hate this for being INSANELY hard, but i like a bit of lastability. on my wii, i play pikmin 2 and the GC version of resident evil 4. i recommend those also.
