As for Eternal Darkness, I've not played it myself, but I hear nothing but good things from those who have.

Nice to see some love for the cube, it was (still is) a class system.

this is my favorite street fighter game but i've heard that the gamecube version doesn't measure up because the controls are different and specials are simplified.

i play it on dreamcast with the standard DC controller and love it

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles (What a fucking jip, you have to have TWO game boy advances to play two player. Ok game though, different style of FF play - its not turn based.)

I really like the GC but there is a serious lack of games and the availability and price of the good ones is annoying.

According to my walkthrough I'm pretty close to the end of Eternal Darkness, but I'm right at the cusp of the hardest part of the game.

I can't say I have, but I don't doubt that the dreamcast version was/is better. I just bought it as it was cheap and wanted a decent fighting game for the cube, which it is.

As for the controls there are two types. There is a simplified setting available for the cube version, and, yes, the setting is shit. But that can be disabled for the normal control type. Then it comes down to how you get on with the controller and the extremely small D-Pad/+Contol Pad, I had no problems.

yep yep fun cheap gaming.

i got my system with 2 controllers for (& Need for speed underground 2) about $25 i think.

bought about 10 games for between $5 min and $15 max each. sold some.

so in total i've spent roughly $150 and i should be able to sell them for more than that as i usually get bargins. problem is i want to keep the games.

Me and my friends look really fondly back to our days smoking weed and playing multiplayer GC at my mates. Infact no other console has ever really beaten it for multiplayer fun. Really wish Sony would bring out more multiplayer games for the ps3 rather than simply focusing on online gaming and single player.

Our favorites:

3. Super Smash Bros.

4. Mario Kart Double Dash

5. Mario Golf

Pretty much standard, but all so amazing with 2 or more controllers

Yea its a combination of sneak around tactics and more aggressive ones. The original engine was a bit clunky so this remake in the newer engine is slick because they brought over some of the newer features. Parts of it can be a bit frustrating your first time through but its solid.

I think the best part about MSG is that the first time through takes awhile, solving all the puzzles and figuring out where to go. After that though you can play through the whole game in an afternoon which is kind of nice if your into beating your own record.

I kinda wish I could find Gamecube games somewhere here cheap. They still sell them at motherfucking 20$ each

i have a n64 now with all the classics. feel good about that purchase
