always like seeing squarepusher act like a parody of himself. and yet we'll get a lot of deaf morons chiming in with the "ITS HIS NEWEST AND FRESHEST SOUND YET. TOM JENKINSON HAS DONE IT AGAIN WITH HIS INNOVATIVE NEW STYLE OF DRUM N BASS. HOUSE PADS? INCREDIBLE."

My mate doesn't want to listen to squarepusher in the car anymore because it's "too white"

He's got a point.

Don't you feel embarrassingly white listening to it?

i gave my friend a panic attack in the car while he was driving when i pumped go plastic. he had to park the car

it was while listening to JAS (on headphones thankfully) that I realised I would be embarrassed to play that record for my friends

Tom's answer to a lot of people saying, "You've lost it."

He made 'Feed me Wieird Things', 'Big Loada', and 'Go Plastic'.....

Don't ever forget!

I like this ep more than the record(JAS)...

but he is making music for himself, which I respect the fuck out of.....

so he throws a bone with 'Numbers Lucent'....

part of the i.d.m. brotherhood code to fuck with all of us......

I feel like it's a bunch of quickly made piss takes. Not near as interesting composition wise as JAS, just better in instrumentation. I dunno I've listened twice and I don't feel the need to listen to it again, just not that interesting to me as most of his other stuff.

am i the only person on watmm who actually really liked JAS?

no, i did too. i'm not too upset that it didn't sound like his previous albums as i already have his previous albums. some people don't half take it personally if something doesn't fit in with their quite limited aesthetic.
