That is an unfortunately side affect of the word filter - it happened to catch the first part of that word, and filter it. It wasn't intentional.

I know what the word means; and to be frank, I doubt most here know what it means and use it more in a juvenile way (which is the basis for the word filters to begin with)

I add filters as they are needed - I got complaints from some board members about the use of the n-word, and so I addressed it. I personally don't have an issue with the word when used in a joking, social context, but since some are genuinely offended by it, I have to respect their wishes. I don't want to go overboard and censor everything, because like when cooking, adding a bit of 'spice' to your language sometimes enhances it, and of course, if you go overboard, it's terrible.

The term EYEDEEM actually does describe a certain type of electronic music, has been used all over the world for many years, and is an actual established term. To remove an acronym that is so important because you simply 'don't like it' is truly mind-boggling. I think there's more going on here with you on a psychological level than you're willing to admit. If you want this forum to be for the people who use it, then you would try to understand where people are coming from when they tell you that they want the filter removed.
