I've been playing The Force Unleashed 2 since Tuesday. It's pretty cool so far. Some nice boss battles. Good story line. Graphics are great. Sound is great. Gameplay is awesome. Not as good as God Of War 3. But whose comparing them anyways.

Hey Joy Rex, how is the Killzone 3 beta going. I saw you were playing it earlier today. I saw some of the beta footage during the games Alpha phase. Whats been improved since K2?

Did you play Fable II? I was a bit hesitant to buy Fable III because of the semi-good reviews it received the first couple of days but Gametrailers finally uploaded their review of Fable III yesterday and gave it 8,9 and said that if you loved Fable II then you would without a doubt love Fable III - and that's good enough for me. I loved Fable II's simplicity. As much as I love complex RPGs I will always love the simple mash up of RPG/Action/Adventure that is Fable. Also, the music is some of the best to have ever appeared in a game. It's haunting and fits the universe of Fable perfectly!

Please explain.

Was it was too short? I loved Fable II, but my biggest problem with it, was I thought it was a little too short for an RPG.

Thinking of bying III, but it hasn't got as good reviews as i expected.

The beta's fucking awesome - way better than any of that Alpha footage. All the details, it's incredible. Very similar to 2 in gameplay style (so far), but with some minor enhancements. So far, only 3 maps, but they are all new maps and one is really badass with an EMP that occasionally goes off, disabling all tech and radar in the area.

The single player should be fucking mindblowing if the MP is this good at this point.

Jesus, man - you've gotten more games??? You must be some college student or something with all that money/free time. Wish I had both!

Squee, if you're in it for the simplicity and button mashing, Fable III is leaps and bounds better than II. The 'humour' has much improved as well IMO, and a few points had me loling IRL, which games tend never to do. There are also a few recurring characters in Fable III as well beyond the main ones; at least one Demon Door which the Hero encountered in the previous game and a certain pair of mischievous brothers as well. Also, if you do get it, I highly advise investing in property over buying items. It's worth every penny once you're making 124,000 gold every five minutes (and I'm not even finished with the first half of the game yet).

Fable 3 is:

1. Very short. I have about 12 hours invested right now and I'm at the endgame, which I hear isn't long (one of the complaints across most of the reviews). I did all the side quests I could find too, except for the evil ones. The main quest is also pretty crappy.

2. Anticlimactic. There's a transition that takes place during the game (It's probably obvious if you've heard anything about the plot, but I won't spoil it) and when everything goes down, it's more "meh" than anything else.

3. Difficult. Not the combat, but the moral choices. The endgame is fucked up, let's just say that much. I looked it up ahead of time because I don't mind spoilers and... it sucks. Basically:

I could write some more about how the end really boggles the mind and how I think it is poorly designed, but that'd take up a page, so lemme just tell you that players with the intention of saving Albion through kindness and love will be... dismayed.

I liked Fable 2 but I feel this one is a step back. Also, whenever I enter my "sanctuary," my butler won't shut the fuck up about DLC. "OH WE HAVE SOMETHING NEW IN THE SHOP WHY DON'T YOU BUY SOME MS POINTS." Kinda random complaint but that shit REALLY takes me out of the game.

The voice acting is solid though :trashbear:

NBA2k11 what a sports game!! i dont even liek basketball but its AWesome. I got drafted to The celtics as a point gard. the be a player is soo tuff..very diffrent from what im used to, its a hardgame coz the Ai is just unreal and you have to work to get your player amazing or youll get F's in team play and i cant even slam dunk :(, though i did assist shaq with a massive allyoop lay up pass, but once i master the controls it's going to be awesome

Ok, I wasn't going to post about this game 'cause I figured no one on this board would even like it, but HELL EFFIN' YES THIS GAME ROCKS!!!

Rarely do I like sports games but this one has really been a great/fun purchase - I could spend hours with the Jordan challenges alone. Playing a season now with the 91' Bulls - great fun, as the game is hard but fair. Controls are intuitive but take skill to use correctly. AI is phenomenal - both challenging and realistic.

Of course, I'm a massive Jordan fan, so that helps my enjoyment, but the overall quality of the game is pretty through the roof.

sounds like molyneux and his crew played a lot of dragon age.... thats the exact premise basically, except the king youre trying to overthrow with your revolutionary army and teammates in DA is called 'loghain'.. its two letters off.

and i heard that inventory system is pretty messed up.. having to go to a hub world just to equip armor /weapons /change settings/see the map? thats just silly..

and how you cant see how many potions you have until youre in combat, and how you cant see how much money you have until youre buying something.. and how you cant just quickly pull up the map..

their reasoning for doing all this was to get rid of the hud interface, but there is still a hud, you just have no control over it and it pops up when it wants to.

I hear great things about this game. I think I'll rent it after I finish The Force Unleashed 2 (which is awesome).

got bored and went on steam. ended up buying "amnesia - the dark descent."

it's a survival horror game in first person. it got tons of rave reviews and people saying it's the scariest thing ever.

i don't know yet. so far it's pretty fucking tense.

I liked dead space, but it didn't scare me.

Some songs I made with my fingers and electronics. In the process of making some more. Hopefully.

i've never heard of this, but after watching the launch trailer i need to get it. for some reason it reminded me of "clive barker's undying", which is one of my favourite games of all time.

dead space scared the SHIT outta me a few times.

rented front mission: evolved which is actually really good so far! i am an absolute sucker for convoluted fictional geopolitics and it has that in spades, as any game with "front mission" in the title should. also it's gorgeous and the controls are great.

Your trouble may be with the fact you're using Total Strike Control. I personally prefer classic controls much better, the striking with it is insane, some of the KO's I've delivered are beautiful :P. With Total Strike Control it is annoying, you sometimes do hooks instead of straights etc.

The demo was pretty terrible, the choices of fighters was retarded, but the full game really excels, really indepth.
