I don't have any money to afford new games atm.

Running thru ME2 again. I thought infiltrator was the best class after playing engineer, now I think my favorite is sentinel.

For a change I decided to try a game that for once a) Isn't some sort abstract 3.7D synaesthesia experience, 2) Not some weird existential concept for a 'game', and d) Is a sequel to a well known franchise - and on a whim downloaded the demo of Rayman Origins. It's nicely difficult and definitely as hard as the original one was, and captures exactly the same joy for me as the first did about 15 years ago when the PS1 seemed all high tech and flashy.

So yeah it were a nice surprise to find a game that hadn't been diluted by cretins to try and please everyone in some group-focus test.

(If possible watch fullscreen in full 1080p to see the lovely detail crafted in every frame)

I haven't eaten a Wagon Wheel since 07/11/07... ilovecubus.co.uk - 25ml of mp3 taken twice daily.

it's fun. real well polished and fluid. not necessarily worthy of being part 3 though. the difference between mw1 and mw2 was much greater. this is more like black ops 2.

also, you have to camp ur ass off unless you want your KDR to be < 1, cause everyone is starting to know the maps now and they're mostly small and have lots of hidey holes (not camp spots but hidey holes)

I played Limbo recently. Started at 1 am and was like yeah i'll play some time... and at around 5 am i had already finished it :D

Really nice soundtrack too, made mostly of FX reminds me of some ambient albums.

Not enough new stuff, and it's shorter than 1 and 2.

Playing through Earthbound (Mother 2?) I think I'm about half way, just finished beating those 5 moles, about to get a million dollars to bail the Runaway Five again. I wish I could just leave them there stuck in their contract. They're good people but obviously they need to do some homework on the business side of things, or hire a fucking manager. Fun game.

Earthbound is a strange one in that the difficulty curve seems reversed, starting off for the first quarter as being quite a challenge but gets easier as it goes along. The whole robot section near the end is bloody rock hard though.....

the binding of isaac... It is sooo god damn addicting. I guess I should have put this in the indie games thread. only $5 on steam. Each game is fresh because it is randomly generated items, and dungeon.

this guy makes good let's play videos about it:

yeh decent roguelike but very very simple much like Voxatron. any of you play ZHP: Unlosing Ranger VS Darkdeath Evilman? superdeep roguelike/S-RPG hybrid. love this one so damn much.

there's a great Dungeon Master style fps roguelike (pre-daggerfall crawler) being made by a finnish studio ATM, it's called Legend of Grimrock:
