does anyone speak Russian or Ukrainian? what does EKHREMTEBEHHH mean?

maybe "a khren tebe" ?

it's colloquial, means something like "you get nothing" or " you won't get it", depends on the context though, it can basically mean "no" as a rude answer to pretty much any question. is it something from stalker ?

Edited by eugene

oh yeah i remember that in stalker

something i forgot to mention that khren is literally horseradish, whose roots look a lot like penis:

http://upload.wikime...ren_Verkauf.jpg

so colloquially khren is a euphemism for penis, but it serves as softer substitute for "khui" which is THE dirty word for penis. so the best literal translation in that context is probably "a dick for you", but it's not really as rough as "fuck you" like google says, khren isn't considered a swear word.

I'm playing Deus Ex: Human Revolution again. Gonna go for the platinum trophy. I like trophy hunting, it inspires me to go back and play games I haven't played in a while. Most of the time I just have a mental block about replaying games. I don't know why. Once I pop in a great game that I've already played to hunt for the platinum, the block is less "there". It's hard to explain why this happens, but to me that is one thing that makes trophies great.

Re-visiting God of War 2, I had forgot how simple but amazingly fun this series is. I think overall I like 2 the most in the series, 3 was pretty damn fun though. Looking forward to Ascension.

Also, been looking more into Dishonored lately, definitely getting that when it comes out, looks friggin sweet.

I guess I have to buy a 3DS to play the new Kingdom Hearts game. I realize I'm probably one of maybe three people on this entire board that even wants to play the new KH game.

Just thought I'd add a note. The quake epsilon thing I mentioned way back when now has it's own page (http://www.xpfree.org/epsilon), is up to version 2 (which is much better and only one build), and has a few expansion packs - mission pack 1 & 2, travail, Beyond Belief and The Myths.

Main reason I thought I'd mention this is that Ochre allowed me to use his 'Fictional soundtrack' tracks for The Myths expansion. Now that's generosity.

Enjoy-

M

Oh, and I've been playing Rayman Origins, Bastion and Serious Sam 3. Not much to report, but Bastion was alright. Rayman Origins is just manic. And flipping weird, but awesome.

Ace - I'm half way through playing Quake again through version 1.something of Quake Epsilon so will continue the last two episodes with this one. The only frame rate issues I had with the last one were with stained glass windows, I tried to edit the config file but couldn't actually find the file mentioned in the readme - hopefully this version will sort it !

I haven't eaten a Wagon Wheel since 07/11/07... ilovecubus.co.uk - 25ml of mp3 taken twice daily.

Im playing too many games right now and soon to be:

Tuesday I'm getting a hold of Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance.

Currently I'm playing Dead Rising 1, Silent Hill: Downpour, Super Scribblenauts, Since I'm Elite member I'll play MW3 on weekends for the clan shit. MW3 on veteran. My friend and I are trying to get the achievements for Dead Rising 2. I just bought Catherine.

I got Crysis 2 cheap, so I'm playing that on PS3, single player campaign. It's pretty. Of course the story is insulting and poorly developed. Every time I start to think Half-Life 2 was probably not actually that well-written, I play something like this.

Gould, 300 times in the first 5 levels: "Oh shit, I fucked up. GO HERE NOW AND FIX IT FOR ME. FUCK YOU, DO IT NOW"

But I like the gameplay balance between stealth and armor modes, and it's visually interesting (don't even start, PC gamers, I already know), and I need to let off a bit of steam with a dumb FPS right now.

I've also been playing through Limbo a couple minutes a week, here and there, when the GF isn't around (since she's playing too, a little behind me in progress). Now that's good shit. Wish I could find an hour or so to myself to finish it in one sitting, with the lights off.

I keep reading about this here. Is it worth purchasing ARMA II for? I've actually been meaning to check that game out also. What's the mod like? Looks like a hardcore, more open-ended version of Left 4 Dead

Ooh, Quake Epsilon looks lovely, I may have to give that a try. Last I checked on the Reforged project a couple years ago it was still in-progress. Seems to have turned out nicely. I really wish they'd make a next-gen reboot of the original Quake, it just has that dark atmosphere that no FPS has really captured since. I've heard rumors that there is a Quake 5 in write-up stages that aims to go back to the Quake 1 aesthetic though so I guess there's hope. More than likely this will not be released before Doom 4 and Rage 2 though.

There's a full-fledged Day Z game coming in a couple months I think. May not be worth buying ARMA 2 at this point if you want to play Day Z.

My gf just got me a Nintendo 64. It's awesome, I've been playing games I haven't played in a decade. So far I've got Goldeneye, Mario Kart, Rayman 2, and 1080, with more classics on the way via eBay (both Zeldas, Perfect Dark, Mario, etc.). Any tips for less well-known N64 gems?

Was disappointed to find out that NFL Blitz wasn't released on PAL!

I haven't played Fallout 3 in years, not since leaving it behind on the 360. That's all changed, as I've finally got around to it again on PC, with all the associated modding potential that brings to the table. I've spent a good few days tweaking various mods, but I think I'm in a good place now (certainly no more crashing to desktop, fingers crossed). Very pleased to be getting results like this:

I always liked how soft and innocent the soldiers look in this game.

SW The Old Republic has now officially admitted it is a big bucket of fail. Free to play coming soon up to level 50. Lucasarts must really be taking a bath, I've read budget estimates from $200-500 million.
