There's really nothing like Silent Hill 2. Not even the other Silent Hills.

Silent Hill: Homecoming, though, is a very good game. I actually highly recommend it if you get a chance to play it.

I would definitely give it a try if I had a compatible console, but that's probably not going to happen any time soon, sadly.

Resident Evil 4 on the GC, still on the first CD, the game is huuuggge and never once it repeates itself, take that HL2.

space invaders, you can play it online, there's a pretty good emulation at The Space Inavders Shrine

I learned from the Pacman thread that Japan suffered a national coin shortage in 1978, which was the year that Space Invaders was released. Neat stuff.

I'm on the fence about World of Goo, by the way. Someone talk me in/out of it.

what do you mean? just get it, play it. if you dont like it stop playing.

it's good though.

But it's a $20 investment!

Saints Row 2 (meh)

im interested in playing this, ive actually heard alot of good things

Yeah it's fun but not up to par with GTA IV. It's sloppy imo, and the gangsta shit gets embarassing.

I was so close to buying Silent Hill, home coming today, so fucking close.

Just wait a bit more... it'll drop to 30USD.

Mirror's Edge and Dead Space are both 40USD now...

Yea it was the price that put me off.

Dead space here is £20 and Left for dead is £40, however I can pick up Mirrors Edge for just £15.

Wipeout HD

definitely a game that makes a lot more sense in high definition.

Also its fun to play the Zone levels with the music spectrum on the track :stuart:

I can't believe no-one's mentioned Flower yet. It's the loveliest piece of gaming I've played since, well Flow:

I haven't eaten a Wagon Wheel since 07/11/07... ilovecubus.co.uk - 25ml of mp3 taken twice daily.

We've been bouncing between Kingdom Under Fire: Circle of Doom, Elder Scrolls: Oblivion, and Katamari Damacy.  Hopefully, I'll be adding Prince of Persia to the list soon.

Still chipping away at Quake Live. Name on there is Terre if anyone wants to hit me up.

Also still playing Ryzom (it's still free). Pretty fun, but like any MMO gets mad boring in large doses.

Elder Scrolls" Oblivion...currently tearing shit up in it....at the top of two guilds and the arena...but i cant fucking find my horse!!!

World of Goo

I highly recommend people check this out, it's highly inventive and funny, a rare treat in gaming these days. I picked it up on sale from Steam, not sure if it's still on sale
