finally, an emotional example! usually they only have the cognitive resemblance to ae, and being totally cold, emotionally unengaging ... 

the track has a good starting point but ae would go deeper and wider, and probably twice as long; imo it's too short, unfortunately... to bad!

bought his 2 eps that are on apple music store. m4a quality but better than streaming and the eps are great. really good stuff. highly recommended.  just search for patrik lechner on apple music store. 

Cospagon's Bitch is from Clone's DUB (Djak-Up-Bitch) Series V/A - Nummer Drie, there's more Autechrean material on it.

Nummer Een is yummy IDM, too.

occult research is still my favorite of the newer labels.. wonder where they went. weme has some special things. oh and bbbbbb of course! trip records as well.

Sounds dope but these are more like covers or LP5/EP7 tracks; I can hear specific/known Ae moments all the time which makes it very distracting for me.

perhaps. i find his structures and drum sounds to not be ae-like. there's a few synth sounds that for a minute trigger an ae vibe in my brain but overall i think he does a different thing.  also, his mixing and mix processing to me sounds very different to what ae does. 

there could be some max/msp crosstalk. he's a heavy max user.. wrote a book about it even. his previous ep might jell w/you better or might trigger those LP5/EP7 vibes. idk.  regardless.. i'm enjoying his tunes.

it's available on kindle and also apple books i think.  i bought it from Pakt as a pdf i think.  haven't dived in yet though.

that book looks well decent. never tried using maxmsp before but it looks interesting
