you can get that one rackmount that's like 10 or more DX7's in one for like 300-500, get an Oberheim matrix racmount for under 400. That's a ton of synthesis power for mad cheap.

No imagination whatsoever. With £10000 this mofo can afford some effin' VCOs. Studio Electronics Omega 8? You could have a lot of fun mixing and matching the different filters.. I dunno.

personally i'd buy an old mono, i'd buy an old poly... i'd buy a good drum machine, a multitrack with lots of tracks and a few interesting effects

Euro-Rack Modular - give it another £1500 for some wicked modules

 

Then split £4500 between a Poly and wicked convertors and monitoring.

 

You can not get bored that that.
