Resurrected the thread for this:

My experiences on high doses of ketamine have put me outside of time. It is very hard to explain so I won't ramble too much but I have basically been in a state of complete timelessness and dimensional transcendance on multiple occasions.

the reason you feel like you are you is because everyone is the same person, experiencing themselves subjectively, as i think gadwin austen said

we are all just a flow of consciousness simply being. there have been tests where scientist put a bunch of monkeys together, and teach certain monkeys how to do specific tasks, with a toy or machine or what have you. soon after, all the monkeys seem to be able to complete the task, despite that it was only taught to a small amount of the mokneys, which were of course isolated from the rest of the group, visually speaking

this is possible because like the monkeys, we humans, probably at a far more incredible level, pass on knowledge and experience to eachother in a constant and perpetual flow of knowing, most of the time at a subconscious level.it is what we really are

have you seen the movie synecdoche, NY? i didn't really like it (thought it was overly pretentious) but i think what you're describing was the general point of the movie. i also managed to check out your music recently and thought it was awesome, it's definitely going on my ipod. seriously great job man

did it feel like there was no-one there, including yourself?

actually it felt more like I encompassed all of space and time.

Like I was in my own realm, of which I was the subject of... like it felt like I WAS that place. It felt like when I was there I understood how every single consciousness is truly collapsed into one single being in the higher levels of reality

Strangely, you're in a way right about feeling like you were your environment through this justification: All of recorded history, human endeavor, can be understood as a part of the universe experiencing itself. All that now constitutes what we call Earth and its organisms were once of the same stellar debris, slowly becoming more massive by Gravity's will.
