so its that time of year again when the nhl play-offs are about to begin.

obviously the pens are gonna win this year

here are the contenders

obviously in the finals idlike to see the canucks play the pens but im just biast and i wanna have a bit of a ruckus with essines.

so we have a chance, if boston and the captials get knocked out we have even more of a chance.

i love hockey!

i want to see vancouver and chicago in the opener, their goalie hasn't be us since like 99 or something, plus i think theyre scared. But San Jose is a bump to get over.. detroit we have played against well this year but they have a much better play off record than us, so we'll see. If we play the flames it'll be sick, massive rivalry.

can't wait. we play colarado on saturday but they are last in the west so they have nothing to lose and those teams are dangerous. doesn't matter, as long as we win that one we have a strong case for northwest champions.

i'm hoping the hawks will make a proper run, atleast to the second round. hopefully they'll face calgary who they've owned this season and the flames seem to be stumbling lately. i can't stand the canucks with their fucking sedin sisters and "mr. clean" and stupid fans already planning the parade. if they meet columbus it might be interesting considering it has two of the best goalies duelling out. that said, i am guessing the canucks will take this series even if people want to make columbus the cinderella team for this year, thanks to the insane play by mason. st. louis making the playoffs is impressive considering the injuries they've had this season, might even give fits to the sharks.

boston are too good at the moment and the habs arnt, as i saw tonight they lack confidence to do anything meaningful. soyeah boston will triumph

Washington over rangers

washington will win just because the capitals are good playing in washington but no team can play well at MSG, the rink is the worst in the nhl

Carolina over new jersey

new jersey fuck up under pressure and the hurricanes dont.

San jose has proven them selves this season. their last few games have been sketchy. but i think they'll take st louis, in what may turn out to be an epic battle, due to the fact the blues are hot right now.

Detroit always win in the psot season. and theyre playing anaheim. i don't think anaheim has a chance.

Canucks over blue jackets, i hope, but it's a wild card. both teams play well and can ebat each other. nucks have home ice so i'll go for em, specially since luongo is playing like a hero right now

And Chicago over Calgary given their season record and the fact that calgary can't play worth shit right now.

if the blues win, the following matchups happen.

the scenario where the blues win looks more interesting. san jose and anaheim will have the strong local flavor going for it and columbus has the chance to upset the wings.
