back to the game, we hammered the caps in the 2nd. feditenko with a wicked goal. knocked the wind out of the caps, i can only see the pens get better in the 3rd.

blackhawks nucks has gone into OT.. from what i saw of the game, chicago just played the puck long all game trying to get a man on the end of it, and failed most of the time. i guess they were doing somthing right to hold off the nucks with a 1-1 draw, lets hope the nucks can get a goal and put it up 3-1

game 4 tomorrow caps vs pens at the mellon.. caps cant play on pittsburgh ice too well, soon as ovechkin gets a hard check he goes cold. if the pens had the same mentality in the first period in the last game, all out checking ruffing them up a bit, then the epns are gonan win, letangs goal must of gave the entire penguins camp a huge lift, and malkins broke his slump and scored a beauty yesterday. pens gotta keep the penatlys down and the powerplays up, yesterday 2 goals were from silly mistakes, pascal dupois needs to fuck off, get goddad in the 4th line and get some enforcing going down! woo!

just take a look at the dominance of the penuins after the 1st, one of the points on the caps board was not to get too many penalties..7 to 2

the blackhawks just scored in ot and won putting it up 2-2 wouldnt call it justified, but then again the canucks should of scored more goals in normal time.

bullshit game. but back to van for game 5. still got mad faith, the hawks are going to have to play their little asses off to just win where as the canucks can play their game to win. we'll see how it goes.

canucks got what they deserved for trapping the whole game and sitting on the one goal lead. had they tried to play a little more offensive they might have scored another one and gone home with a 3-1 lead. hawks still have the offensive weapons to score given enough chances and it paid off. that said the hawks will have to adjust to the canucks boring trapping play, it seems this way of playing is poison to the hawks fast transition game. i have a feeling this might go to 7 games and some more OTs are to be expected.

it looks like the deepness of the red wangs team is starting to expose the ducks. getzlaf is getting overplayed and their physical game is probably taking a toll on the team. babcock shuffled some lines and got immediate offense with the hossa-filppula-franzen trio.

the red wings wont win the SC again this year, the eastern teams are all amazing this year (respect where respect is due) boston and carolina are battling it hard (staal vs chara - or lack of) and good for them, coming out or reg season the bruins looked unstoppable..

though to be fair i dont take much notice of the west too often, unless the penguins has a east west game in the reg season. so im coming from an eastern point of view here...

Getting ready for carolina to take down the bruins 2nite. It'll be close but i think they'll manage. They've been playing outstanding games these past 3. Gonna try and score some tix for next round. Cam Ward keeps making more and more incredible saves, especially when its mayhem in front of the goal. If anything that's what he specializes in, a lot of goals on him seem to be tiny little errors or miscalculations, though he's had his fair share of clean goals scored on him.
