Good game! I thought we were going into OT for a sec there. Couldn't believe that almost blunder in the last few seconds on the pens goalie.

CAnes were pretty crap in the 1st but 2nd and 3rd they played good hockey. This series is exciting!

ive just woke up from my pre-game nap (i have to sleep otherwise i fall alseep during the game, so during the play offs my body clock is fucked up!)

its gonna be a belter tonight, hopfully fred mcgrifs gonna prat for the pens to thump the hurricanes for a 2-0 lead. im well pumped for this game! PUMPED!

i think i'll watch this game..been ONE WHOLE DAY without playoff hockey. i have a feeling the canes will tie it up.

was a tough OT loss for my hawks the other night, but their trend is upwards and i hope they can keep improving and take at least the home games and tie up the series. but the wangs sure do look strong. i would be bummed to see a repeat of last years finale.

Hey chris i'm going to adopt a yorkshire accent for the next couple weeks. I've become quite fond of them. American accents are so brash, i prefer northern engand/almost scotland. Just thought i'd share.

i found out that gill has been on the ice or at least one of the last peoepl to touch the puck or drop a stick before the opposing team scoring/

i dont like northern accents that much. im south coast so i sound like a farmer but not as much as west country, where im going tomorrow. i dunno. i think youd sound funny talking ina yorkshire accent

but you don't know what i sound like ne way. I don't have a southern accent. I have a fairly plain straightforward manner of speaking. I like southern english accents too, all of them really, and scottish, i think irish are my least faces even though i'm of that decent. Something about yorkshire accents are just fun. Very funnny ways of saying things, but not as up tight sounding as a cockney.

Yeah i saw that hit def gonna see a few fights brewing. If the canes hadn't scored yet they would already be pickin fights.

I will say, about the canes, they are really bad/sloppy with passing and 6/10 passes are to open ice where no one is, and its obviously not strategy you can see the person it was meant for just off screen usually. This i do not understand.

is it just me or is j.staal fucking useless in this series?

he seems half arsed most of the time, the shots he makes.. he had an open player and he shot right at ward. in game one he had a shot which went miles over the netting over the boards.

ok its a big game for him against eric and all, but look at sykora against the flyers, failed to do shit when he had the chance, brung back satan 1g 1a.. if you arnt gonna take the chances then sit out for a game. i quite liek jeff taffe whos been bought back from the AHL.. it seems all the guys bought back from AHL have done well in the play offs, goligoski, scuduri, satan to name a few.

yeah eric staal is much more of a power player than his brother. Though canes go to staal a lot when in a bind cuz he's good at getting in there quick and scoring but a lot of their recent attempts at that have worked but he hasn't scored a lot.

re: yorkshire accent...It's all because of my summer of love with nathalie press and emily blunt. nathalie (actually grew up in london irl) has an awesomely cute yorkshire accent since that's where she was from in the film.
