bad goaltending on both sides. the caniancs better win their home games if they want a chance. cam ward ought to play his A game if they want to win. crosby and malkin are hot as shit, but if i was a pens fan i'd also like to see other guys contributing more.

there has been a wealth of amazing players this play offs. and its not been the malkin and crosby show all series.

as much as i love malkin, hes only just begun scoring and getting points, in the first 2 games he was quiet and really didnt pass the puck much, though yesterday was his most badass game all post season he even had a little fight! so obviously its onwards and upwards for evgeni.

crosby is crosby so he's had the limelight all playoffs, his seires started in washington when it was the crosby and ovechkin show.

apart from these 2. there has been a great influence by these guys

scuduri. when gonchar missed the game after the knee to knee with ovechkin, scuduri came in the next day a kept ovechkin quiet, as well having a awesome poke check.

satan, came back from the ahl when sykora went to shit, been a key player in the last 4 or 5 games, assisting and scoring and fighting

letang, i think during the caps series was on fire, scored the ot winner, wrestled for the puck non-stop, got a bit quiet yestrerday but still, i saw against the caps there is alot more to come from kris letang when its least expected.

fedetenko, through out the season i didnt think much to him then comes the play offs and BANG what a player. did more then malkin in the first 2 games (flyers, caps) even though malkins now found his game rustan is still eligble to kick ass.

then there is the likes of guerin (my 2nd fav pens player), kunitz, boucher, max talbot, cooke, fluery, eaton's been holding the defence quite well. and 4th line superno craig adams, dont have much ice time, and i dont know he'son the ice at any given time but still g1 a1 +/- 0

the only playes who arnt doing well imo are staal, gill, dupbois (when he was playing) and gonchar isnt a player he was before the knee to knee, or kennedy, last year kennedy was a better player then he was this year.

so yeah for pens fans its not just the malkin and crosby show. unless they single handedly 4-0 the canes then it'l always be the rest of the team who'll always get my credit in a way no 1 player can.

i am just thinking that the rest of the teams left has had a much more balanced scoring, while crosby and malkin have almost twice the points the top guys of the teams left have. if it ends up being the wangs and pens in the SCF i could see trouble for the pens if the wangs manage to shadow malkin and crosby.

Yeah the pens have totally spanked and embarrassed us. I'll kinda be glad wen this is over so i can go ahead and cheer for the pens. They've gotta be going all the way to the cup victory with how good they are.

it's like the canes have run out of steam. letting again up 2 quick goals doesn't help them. makes you wonder if the "right" team advanced from the NJD and BOS series. usually when it goes to 7 games in a series the correct team advances. 3-0 is a commanding lead, but wouldn't plan the parade route just yet. still i think the pens will take it now.

i really want the hawks to win, not because im scared of the wings, it'll just be nice. to play someone new in the finals,

anyways were triple the team we was last year. so maybe it woul dbe nice to get a bit of revenge on the wings

who knows maybe they've gotten their act together. I must say they had a great great great tight offensive in all the games before they started playing th bruins. I don't know the names of hockey formations if there even are but they would smoothly get the puck from their end, have center, left, and right all speeding down the ice at the same pace, passing back and forth, back and forth and blam, would nail it in.

But i guess perhaps the bruins and pens figured this out and found a way to counter it? I dunno but it was so smooth and worked so well before and ive seen them try it but not really succeed, their playing has gotten increasingly sloppy. Anyone know what it might be? Just good tactical opposition lead but good coaches of opposing teams?

Edit: every time they would get back into this formation the announcer would say "and the canes restart"...anyone know what its called? or is it just a basic offense strategy.
