Can we have dreadlocks and ethnic jewelry banned from character design?

we need to share bottles of alcohol and break bread ... + especially those dreadlocks with ethnic jewellery in them .. holding dem strands together whilst ripping apart the believability of the films imagery ..

the drunker i get the cooler that trailer is. i can't imagine how badass it will be in 3D. does the airship battle remind anyone else of the Wookiee homeworld scenes in Revenge of the Sith?

It's because people seem to expect that the first sight of moving pictures from avatar will be god himself appearing through the screen, offering you a blowjob

That trailer looked like the trailer to Halo 8: The New Beginning.

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Well, I for one knew nothing about the hype, but if this is supposed to represent animation seamlessly combining with live action, it falls way short of the mark. I can't imagine the colors being more garish.

THIS HATE IS MAKING ME ANGRY. THIS TRAILER IS THE BEST LOOKING THING I HAVE SEEN IN 5 YEARS.

I honestly would be somewhat okay with this movie flopping at the box office. No lines to deal with, more space for me and my bros to pass a joint in the back of the theater... but knowing Cameron every god damn person in this thread will see this movie and they will on some level enjoy it. He's yet to make a flop and this one looks to be some of his best shit yet imo.

As I started this thread, and saw some Avatar footage today, I'll quote myself from the other thread:

I think Cameron guessed that the trailer would not get across what is impressive about this film, which is why they have scheduled 15-min previews of 3-D footage at various Imax theaters all over the world today.

I went to see one of the previews in London.

I can confirm that the trailer does not do this film justice. When you see proper, extended scenes with the Na'Vi characters conversing with each other and interacting with the environment it is very believeable. The look in the Sigourney-Weaver-Avatar's eyes when she warns Sam Worthington's Avatar to run, the moves that Zoe Zaldana's Avatar makes when she tackles a pack of dog-like creatures, the scenes where Sam and Zoe talk to each other - they are very impressive.

And thats without going into the other flaura and fauna that crop up.

The scene where Sam(Jake) and a tribe of Na'vi come through a waterfall to a pack of dragon creatures on a cliffside is amazing. So much detail and movement.

And the 3-D was amazing as well, very crisp and precise, so clear and artifact-free that within 20 seconds you are just in the scenes, and not thinking about the 3-D aspects at all, just experiencing them.

Its not quite perfect. Perhaps 5% of the time, you can see that you are watching a CGI creature. But 95% of it is perfectly done, you believe that you're watching a 10-foot high blue alien, channelling the brain waves of Sam Worthington or Sigourney Weaver. And I think that 95% will be enough to make watching the whole film an amazing experience.

There have been fantastic levels of hype around this movie, and it wont be able to live up to all of it, but it definately does raise the CGI bar, especially in terms of expression and movement.

probably the best thing about this trailer is that, knowing Cameron, he always tries to top himself so Battle Angel Alita will have perfected the CGI reality and 3D advancements he is going for with Avatar. add to that the rumor he wants old man Harrison Ford to play Dr. Ido, and Alita will be the first all CG lead character in a live action film, and hopefully 5 years from now we will be reaping the rewards of that.

whut?

After this I listened to geogaddi and I didn't like it, I was quite vomitting at some tracks, I realized they were too crazy for my ears, they took too much acid to play music I stupidly thought (cliché of psyché music) But I knew this album was a kind of big forest where I just wasn't able to go inside.

I was in US tjis summer, and eat in KFC. FUCK That's the worst thing i've ever eaten. The flesh simply doesn't cleave to the bones. Battery ferming. And then, foie gras is banned from NY state, because it's considered as ill-treat. IT'S NOT. KFC is tourist ill-treat. YOU POISONERS! Two hours after being to KFC, i stopped in a amsih little town barf all that KFC shit out. Nice work!

So i hope this woman is not like kfc chicken, otherwise she'll be pulled to pieces.
