Why not put the New Releases under the General Music Discussion? I don't think it would confuse anyone and would be tiddy organized, also the artists subforums as they are get little attention maybe in the long run you could merge them with the GMD and put them as sticky threads.

I agree, new releases subforum is busy enough as it is without it getting crowded up by random discussions about music thats been out for years.

It would be the exact same thing as it is now, you guys just lack the vision and can't picture it. Why scatter all the subforums when they could be sticky threads? Or just put them as subforums and replace in your mind the General Banter with the GMD.

I don't think you're invisioning it properly.

If the new releases forum was all combined into one thread it would be hopelessly disorganized.

Also the entire point of creating a GMD forum would be to allow people free reign to post lots of inane fanboy shit about artists without crowding up General Banter.
