I'm not saying I don't like some Aphex Twin, but Aphex Twin is boring compared to Autechre. Especially Syro (fruity loops). Unlike Autechre, Aphex Twin still operates in traditional frameworks.

maybe, but it doesn't change the fact that Yessland came out after Yellow Calx and parts of it sound remarkably similar.

I feel the same way, but I don't think one can deny that Aphex was a big influence on Ae in the Nineties.
