i'd like to see the two hyperion books by dan simmons become movies. also seconded on the iain m. banks culture novels being movies.

it would take an insanely skilled filmmaker to turn the culture books into anything but utterly shitty films. if they got made i would give them a 1 in 5000 chance of being good.
