all i can see is the thing hurley had in the guitar case, which had no relevance and made no sense anyway.

its all just marketing. the same thing came up when soprano's did that. everyone was talking about it, dissecting the phot, yada yada, and what did it mean in the end? ziltch. lost is doing the same thing. there are definitely a lot of religious overtones going on in lost though.

it's not that great, my point is, an average picture is better than most episodes this season :-)

loved the last few episodes though

Hm - I've been reading the transcripts of the whispers and... well... are these ghosts retarded because none of these transcripts make any sense.

It just occurred to me yesterday that most likely Jack's body will be taken over by Jacob, making him the new Jacob. Then it will be Locke and Jack on the island, only it's really just Jacob and MiB back at where they started.

It's so going to happen.The "Adam" will be Jacks dead body. No idea on the female though :x

so did LOST really just pull a 'the Stand' in this final season? the show seemed more interesting to me before the god vs satan allusions

I've come to the conclusion that things might end up well for Lost. If you take a look back on Twin Peaks you'll know that season 2 started out alright and then went downhill - and we're talking REALLY downhill. ABC completely fucked up when they forced Lynch and Frost to reveal the killer because it was the main mystery that kept the show interesting - that and the Red Room of course. But when Lynch came back and directed the very last episode everything felt as if it was right back on track and it ended with such a boom that you just wanted more. So even though Lost has been through... 2... 3 poor seasons it might just work end up with a fantastic finale that no one sees coming. It might just be wishful thinking but I'm keeping my hopes high.

But one of the two universe has to end, no? It can't end well on both "sides", that would be stupid.

The title of the episode before the finale seems to imply that there will be certain measures taken in order to make one universe the only one. Or at least that's how I read into it.

I don't think it will 'end' per se. It's not going to be all wrapped up. It will be open for interpretation and will certainly leave a lot of questions unanswered
