Obviously the CGI effects are not going to match the effects you see in multi-million Hollywood movies but common, they are not that bad. Its not any consolation but they are a lot better Heroes (NBC).

Galactica had bad CG for it's whole run, but it didn't hurt much.

i really dont know where they are going with this double timeline thing. still, last season, just want to know what happens now. smoke monster is starting to look pretty badass too.

My review:

• Sawyer, Kate, Hurley, Juliet = Who cares
  
• Jack's returned to my interesting character list, something he's been missing from since season 2.
  
• Alternate timeline = thumbs up. I really like the way some things are different. Gets you wondering. Especially Des.
  
• Was nice seeing Boone again, I actually quite liked his character. Shame, I think it's a cameo.
  
• Wasn't nice not seeing Shannon again, I've got such a boner for her.
  
• Where's Faraday? He needs to materialise somehow. He's still more interesting dead than most of the living characters.
  
• Was great and surprising to see Takayama! That dude is intense.
  
• Thumbs down to the "mysterious" shit like the pool of water with the fake Sayid drowning. Whoo! They have spooky customs here! *fart*
  

Like I said before, I've missed out on every series between this and 1. But I too don't know what they can do with these alternate realities... It's fair enough to imagine how their lives would've panned out without the island (I'm personally finding that more interesting because I have no idea what's happened to the characters in the Island reality and only know them from the first series), but they can't really ever combine the realities or have each come to natural final ends.

It's all very complicated, actually painfully so, and this is what I knew would happen with Lost and why I gave up watching so early. I've come back for some kind of simple answer to it all, that's all I want. Benevolent Gods or Aliens, I don't give a shit. But it's not going to happen, you know that and I know that.

I'm actually in close contact with a writer of Lost, he contacts me via SMS textual messaging every day to reveal future plot points and the show ends with all of the events being the dying dream of a soldier in Vietnam. Think about what happens on the show, a lot of that correlates with war. Crashing planes, black smoke, the guns are old, asians, good vs bad and how they perceive each other.

Think I'm lying? Well guess what the soldiers name is...

The most conceivable answer so far.

I'm still half-expecting it to end on a cliffhanger and curtail into a Lost Movie though.

Incidentally, call me when the final episode is aired. I don't care until then.
