so smokey doesnt get in peoples bodies and he can just form a whole new body outta nothin, but whereas jacob, who can also form bodies of himself just after he gets killed has to have his spirit tied into the existing body of sayid. what the fuck? i like lost but if i think about it too much it just gets ruined for me.

there has not been any white smoke ever. where do you get the notion that locke sees it as white smoke?

Jacob doesn't make a new body... Hurley can just see dead people. Jacob even said no one will be able to see him.

why did miles come to the island? he communicates with dead people. they broght him to talk to jacob when we thought jacob was a scary shack dwelling thing. infact wtf was that shack shit all about? jacobs a nice guy and he lives in the statue foot so why did ben go to the shack. gah i'm confused now. it seems all that shack shit was filler bullshit

thats when they were teasing jack's father as jacob too. things like that make it seem like they are just free-wheeling their writing and making it up as it goes along. it has gotten so complex now that its almost funny.

i will be surprised to see how they tie this all up, i think it would need at least another 3 seasons to do so...

jacob died in the past? no because ben/sun/frank/flocke were in the present. so fuck i dunno anymore. need a jacob timeline diagram.

He says it was a brilliant white light, not smoke. There have been arguments that the smoke monster has appeared slightly grayer or less dark at times, but I think that's mostly a matter of sketchy CGI/wishful thinking.
