Autechre Manifestation of the Divine Personality.

The two have stated that the rhythms usually come first and then the melodies kind of permeate and arise out of them.

Kind of like when you look at how a vibrant flower grows out of the soil.

Or something along the lines of primordial soup. The way a colorful life form may come out of rocks and minerals.

 

There was Adam the male, and from him came Eve, the female. Metaphorically speaking just so things don't get messy.

 

Talking in terms of male and female, rhythm would most definitely be masculine, and melody would of course be feminine.

 

If you stood behind booth and brown while they were playing live, stood behind them like a soul living through the brain, booth would be on the left and brown would be on the right.

 

Booth signifying the left brain, male, logical aspect, or rhythms. Brown signifying the right brain, female, emotional aspect, or melodies. The music signifying what happens when these two elements come together and give birth to a child.

 

A very intimate, twin soul, synergistic relationship. Of course this yin and this yang are able to switch places and move about freely. Getting in those gray, in between areas. They've said that they trade roles in creating music sometimes and even imitate the others techniques.

Amber is the tribal age of civilization, where man (or whatever) learns and explores the beauty

 

Tri repetae is the mechanical age, where machinery is the primary way of getting any process done

 

Chiastic Slide is the ascent into space and subsequent residence there for a period of time. CS is definitely Autechre-Space if there ever was such a thing.

 

LP5 is the discovery of a new planet with a different atmosphere, different landscape, etc, and the subsequent exploration thereof.

 

EP7 is the descent into the oceans of this planet in search of new life.

 

Confield is where you end up after being sucked down the sinkhole at the bottom of the ocean. Not only is it a completely different landscape and atmosphere, it is a completely different dimension where our present laws of physics don't even make sense.

 

Draft 7.30 is after a period of time when this realm has been colonized and organized to a certain degree. Draft is to Confield as Tri Rep is to Amber, in that it is a more highly mechanical and organized stage of the same atmosphere.

 

Untilted is the exploration and calculation of madness and #0 ?? () at dwt\widgets\Display.d:3521 from pintlgnt.dll the descent thereof. The album bleeds schizophrenia and paranoia. The story of Autechre and their music is just one of the infinite examples of how the divine personality and story of consciousness and evolution has manifested through the cosm we live in.

Our 5th dimensional counterparts exist in a timeless universe of fractal recursion...the smooth faced analogues of our conscious bodies! That being said I think there is a sort of magic present in Autechre's music that I have yet to encounter in other artists' works. This seems to compel alot of us to write these ridiculously long winded transcendental posts about their music. I mean, if Ae isn't transcendental music, then please tell me exactly what is.
