Autechre Ilanders

this is one of the "hits" on oversteps for me

we will see how it will develop over time but I really like it currently

reminds me a bit of TED by clark from way it affects me:

The melody is so dark, I love it.

i like ilanders, however the dark r ess vibe is basically ruined as soon as this beat drops. looking forward to hearing this one in the proper wavs, as i can tell it is being diminished by this shite m4a quality.

I agree, the beats are a tad wimpy for that bass. But its still a great track

Thanks for starting a thread on this.....wanted to chime in about how stunning this track is, but didn't want to brave the oversteps megamess. This track is already in my AE top ten. It's just absolutely amazing. Totally dark, totally sci-fi, totally emotive, everything i love about Ae rolled in to one awesome epic track.

My favourite AE tracks are Nil, Second Scepe, Laughing + Draun Quarter, Dael and Vletrmx21. This challenges all of them B)

reminds me when the melody pulls up and it sounds like a skeet is being fired into the air, hold your breath, then tons of flak munitions exploding trying to shoot it down

my favorite part is after those 5 or 6 notes, and then those understated airy dark pads swirl up and around for a few seconds.

Its my fav track on the album. Definitely epic!

honestly this track doesn't hold my attention much past 30 seconds in. i think its too long -- would serve better as a transition track or someth.
