The arrangements of ilanders on the leak and actual release are completely different. The actual release makes you wait nearer to the end of the track (about 3/4 into it) for the best bit, which makes for a better build up. This is certainly one of my favourite ae tracks

edit: does anyone know where Rook is these days?

I don't understand why iTunes Japan has this huge writeup of Autechre's album but it's totally in english, I guess some people read English over there but is that what any other country's itunes store is like? Don't they translate that stuff. I realize it's a monumental task with however many albums itunes has but they're fucking quadrillionaires anyway

and it'll be easier to ascertain the sound differences if i've heard the digital version first anyways

in 24-bit this album sounds Sooooo much better! i'ts like twice as good now ... at least
