i've never done recreational drugs, only ever drank...and even then not to extremes, and i don't drink anymore (choice, i don't see the point in drinking tbh)

I hate the mentality that people have that you need to be drunk to have fun.

well if you dont like being intoxicated that's your business, i just find it hard to believe when people say they've never taken a drug because most likely they've ingested alcohol or caffeine for it's psychoactive effects.

When you say 'youve never done recreational drugs' that comes off as weird to be because alcohol, at least in western parts of the world is the most popular recreational drug

Anyone else making it to the Brighton show? Pavilion Theatre is only like 200 person capacity, I want a massive room with lazers!

yeah it is annoying when some people do that. i drank back in 2006 because i was in with a group of lads at work who got me out "on the lash". first time i was majorly drunk was off of one and a half White Russians and a tequila slammer. i was sick the next day. sickest i've ever been. drank quite a bit throughout summer of 2006, then the group at work kinda got disbanded. haven't drank since really, excepting the odd one drink here and there.

yea in the end drugs are bad indeed, the rich mental experiences can be had in more healthy ways too i suppose. some careful experimentation doesn't hurt though imo, and i'll definitely grab me some proper E for Autechre live @ Berghain.

I am sober as a judge as we speak. But this album has a stoned vibe to it, thats what I picked up on anyway.

i was an alcoholic for a while, but ironically i have long felt that psychedelics/dissociatives are far superior to alcohol

I couldn't ever envision my life without sociable drinking. It's the fabric of our (UK) society. You don't have to be wankered off your face.

I just can't bring myself to do weed.

I don't like all the super skunk about nowadays, too strong for me. Being stoned all the time isn't a good idea. Puitting tonnes of smoke into your lungs isn't really a smart move. Every now and again is fine.

I usually buy cds,and in order to listen to them on my ipod and speakers, I convert them to apple losseless format on itunes.

Is there a way for me here to convert the 24bit wav files in this format without losing anything sound-quality wise ?

Still an hour to go to get the wav files anyways, will listen to the 320mp3 meanwhile.

Too bad my headphones just got brokent 2 days ago ( Bose Supra ) I absolutely need to go to the BOSE store tomorow and get it replaced right away !!!!!

Well if it's a lossless format, I wouldn't have thought it would therefore lose anything (it is iTunes though so it wouldn't surprise me if that isn't the case)

EDIT: Googling seems to suggest ALAC and ALE formats do indeed support 24 bit files...
