ATTN: Wire & Generation Kill junkies

Few of things bothered me about Treme. First I couldn't get over the British reporter in the first episode, it just didn't make sense at all.

Second, the hand holding by explaining Youtube, stuck out like a sore thumb to me.

Third, I hate the way all the charaters bang on about how great New Orleans is, seemingly all the time. They're ridiculously and unrealistically self referential.

I couldn't really get into Treme, never mind.

Have a hard time swallowing the music side though. Shit is just corny.

my biggest problem with the show is that it's just so fucking dry, even the attempts at humor in the show feel forced. I really think the Wire was lightning in a bottle for David simon, it just can't be repeated. they should just jump the shark and have Mcnulty visit the Treme and sleep with everybody
