Seriously, I have never, ever seen such beauty and refinement in fractal art. Please tell me that Kaini has a huge online library with hi-res versions of his fractal creations. I'm thinking of making a wallpaper for my studio. You know, an actual paper wallpaper, about 3 x 4 meters in size.

i would fucking love a massive print of kaini's (or some other good artists) fractals. i've been fucking asking in that thread in genban if there are any options other than deviant art where you pay $40 for like a postcard.....

thanks! working on a thumbnail gallery thing at the moment, i have a few 1080p renders up on kaen.org at present though.

i've been messing about with wallpapers too - check the attached file. bear in mind the 'pixels' are ~5mm in diameter so it will look best from afar, i guess.

feel free to do whatever you want with the images - like i said, they're not 'mine', really

there's a 40 meg dithered monochrome pdf in this thread, dot size 3mm. it's much better than the one up there^^^. it's basically 7x5 landscape A4 but will require 40 sheets of paper due to a fuckup, the bottom 5 are 90% blank

the softness of oversteps somteimes makes me think of the impressionists and how they used light. monet and signac's landscapes, in particular. of course the subject matter isnt very ae-appropriate, but the techniques give me that soft os veix3/qplay/krYlon bliss

Their music inspires me.

Autechre = mix of Richard Serra, Carl Andre, Donald Judd, and early Frank Stella.

would depend on the trac and album in particular-but cy twombly goes quite nicely with autechre. one of my favorite things to do is to listen to autechre whilst walking the museums.
