Autechre Autechre Review

Erm... in addition tolerance (within the bounds of common sense and decency) I'm really after consistency. If a person is irritated by another's way of speaking - in this case, our reviewer's non-standard pronunciation of Autechre - the implication being that it is the non-standard use of language which is irritating, then they ought to back up their feelings by using standard language themself. Otherwise they'd be in the company of the reviewer, without a leg to stand on between them.

I agree with his general summary of Autechre and how you need to listen to it, but when he gets into his specific review of the album I don't really agree with him. At the same time, I can see all of his points and since at that point it's really just his opinion then I'd say it's a pretty valid review.

This guy was ok. I actually skimmed a bunch of his other reviews and found out about some new shit (to me) which is what it's all about eh. And considering the other music he focuses on it's good just to see ae in the mix.

He should have quoted some forums posts in his review though. <this is the weirdest trend, is it just ae or is it a common thing now?>

i thought his shirt had the growls garden art on it, but it doesnt. is that a rabbit's foot hanging from his belt loop in the beginning??
