damn that last episode was amazing. part of me wants to say best episode ever. The first scene with the guy coming out of nowhere was scary as fuck, it was almost more scary in some ways than a Lynchian scene because the atmosphere was completely mundane, no music or overtly scary cues.

dude needs to collaborate with charlie kaufman again, this is some of the best depiction of realistic dream imagery i've seen in ages, and possibly more impressive than most in this instance because of the minimalism of it.

I really liked this week's episode. Season 5 is very loose, very funny and very confident, it's a tricky balance you have to make between trivial and impactive but Louis pulls it off. Bravo!

the only 'shred' i could find was that apparently Sarah Silverman (who can probably handle a guy randomly pulling his dick out and jacking off in front of her) supposedly mentioned jokingly that Louie did this to her one time. the only thing i can find out about it though is in the gawker comments. Anybody know if she actually did say anything like this?
