Which Hostel have you been looking at? If you ring them to book a room ask them if you can come and go at all hours...and let me know. If so then I should be ok.

We were looking at .numberOfAdults=2&tab=description&hotelId=259199&validate=false#description"]this one

Its one star but you're hardly looking for luxury with a hostel, its got a nightclub as part of it, the noise won't be a problem since we'll be out at ungodly hours.

Or else we could splash out and stay where Richards staying

london is unreasonable unless you have friends there, id never dream of trying to stay in a hostel etc i dont reckon. im actually down that weekend for something else though, maybe if that falls through i can break the taboo and meet some watmmers.

The only time I've forked out for somewhere to stay in London is when a girl is involved. Otherwise mates floors/first train is the way forward. This may not help if you're coming from super far away. Surely youth hostel type places will be flexable as you like?

WAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGHGHGHGHGHGHGHGHGHGHH

OK, Ceephax was amazing. He's just such an Essex wideboy, he's hilarious. (he was also wearing the most psychedelic - I don't know if they were trousers or pyjama bottoms or what, but they were really eye-bending.) But I think that DMX actually managed to steal the show. HOUSE.

That said, I lost the ability to focus my eyes or even stay awake halfway through Monolith and ended up running for the N133 before the end of his set.

Polish dude with the IDM topknot won best hair of the night.

Also, WTF was up with Room 2? I poked my head in and they were playing Hall & Fucking Oates - um wrong end of the fucking 80s to be reviving there, mate. Exited swiftly.

WAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGHGHGHGHGHGHGHGHGHGHHOK,

This sums it up. I was also feeling absolutely knackered during Monolith, but I managed to stay until the end of Wisp (6-ish). Bogdan and Wisp were incredible, shame you couldn't catch them though a load of people did the same I noticed.

One side effect is that now, for me, listening to music on any other system falls a bit flat. *begins saving to buy a funktion one*

Spoke briefly to Ceephax, what a top bloke. Also BIG thankyou to Jodey Kendrick.

I feckin love that soundsystem in corsica studios. The bass subs in room 2 are off the scale in terms of making you feel sick.

i felt the full effect of Funktion One at a Trigger event in Bristol a few years back, they had a pair of 7.5ft tall infra bass horns with Cursor Miner and SOTEG playing live

was eye wobbling bass

three bits are very memorable, monoliths remix of midnight stars 'midas touch' and wisp playing that dirty jungle tune with all the middle age sounding harpsichord stuff before hand, i thought wisp, monolith and dmx krew were 10/10!

Yeah really good night. Only thing i didn't really enjoy was the criminal minds due to the fact i thought it would be quality oldskool breaks. it was more of a hip hop show that didn't really fit, even in the spirit of variety
