My late for work dreams have turned into, I'm late for work and the walls/ground are made of minecraft blocks.

another cool trick i learnt about building walls:

-i place blocks under myself

-when i'm high enough, i let a lava bucket flow down to the ground

-when it has reached the ground, i remove the lava flow with a bucket and place a water flow on top of it

-as water falls down faster than lava, my lava column turns into rock

You don't have to see both sides of a block to know if there are diamonds. Efficient, like Propane.

Is this digging downwards?

I usually dig 1-wide 2-tall tunnels leaving a 2-block vertical plane undug between them but I'm switching to 3 blocks undug between since it is extremely rare for ore to be generated without part of the grouping to stick out into a different plane.

I usually just go to cave systems and search for diamonds there.

no, not downwards. that's how the area would look from the top if there were no ceiling. pretty much what you said: leaving 3x3x3 blocks undug.

i rarely stripmine. if i get to lava level i just dig ledges around the edges of lava pools.

i've trained my wolves to sniff out diamond so that helps a great deal

is that supposed to find diamond?

I still can't find any wolves :angry: Maybe they are rarer on hard difficulty or something?

stick torches down on grass at night, should see some eventually

So there's something about the blocks. And the proper natural rules of the game I think. Weird

i almost completely burned down my volcano house... was super stoned last night (remember the therapist thread) and decided that I would expand the volcano. anyway, in like slow fucking motion the lava went a bit off-course and I'm running around trying to build stone walls to contain it... too stoned and not enough in my inventory to stop it....

anyway the fire ends up wiping out my front entrance and comes within 2 blocks of my 7 of my house dogs that I told to sit still in the living room. i wouldve felt pretty bad if my dogs burned to death not being able to move out of the way.

PROTECTED AREAS! Type "/res" to see the commands! This costs money to purchase land, each user can have a maximum of 2 different locations.

(Creating a residence is just a few easy steps:

1. Select an area. This can be done with either the "/res select [x-radius] [y-radius] [z-radius]" command or with the selection tool (wooden axe by default)

2. (optional) To expand your selection from sky to bedrock, type "/res select vert".

3. Type "/res create <name>)

Set your home using "/sethome" then use "/home" to teleport back there! This can only be used once every 30 minutes. (/spawn also sends you to the spawn but is on the same timer)

Mail system! Type /mail to see the commands.
