why do you need the patcher if it's 16x16? some other sort of restrictions vanilla minecraft places outside the resolution?

I used custom Water and Lava animations (in order to make them gray), and the patcher fixes that. Yes, I sorted out the foliage. It was very convenient, because I wanted black leaves, and my only choices for colors are green or black (making them white or another shade would make them a darker shade of green [i think].

Ha, I was going to tell you to actually, I heard you're a karma junkie.

I was thinking of having you reddit it after I complete it. I have all day tomorrow to work on it (no work and summer vacation). In the meantime, give me suggestions to make it better. I'll fix it all up tomorrow, hopefully add a custom fire animation if I can figure it out, submit it to the minecraft forums and you can have your way with it.

Alright, last post about my texture pack, then I'll shut up. I'm just too excited.

I added black and white fire, it was pretty easy. Also updated some mobs that were in color and added red to some redstone based items. Also updated the Icon.

ps ur texture pack is neat murve man

great pack Murveman. It looks awesome. My only advice would be make stone, grass and sand textures more simplified. I dont know how you would do it though. As you can see from screenshot, it's pretty seizure inducing. Still, fcking nice pack. Reminds me of early black and white Mickey Mouse

It reminds me of another texture pack that somebody did. It was that dark green and black colors from the original gameboy. Talk about nostalgia trip playing with that one.

I just tried that HD texture pack but I just went back to the normal one. It just does not feel right

I saw that one, it was pretty well done if I remember right. Yea, it's a tad over whelming, but I kind of like that. Maybe I'll focus on making a more accessible version or something like that.

Pennywise, I changed sand. It looks much better. I'm going to keep stone the way it is, and will experiment with dirt in the future. For now, I think the texture pack will stay the same for a while. Unless I get some suggestions from the minecraft forum (Har har).
